An operation for this purpose has been launched.<\/p>\n<p>The squatters are thought to be a part of the modus operandi of land mafia where first shanties are built and slowly the land is possessed. The encroached land measures around 1,000 kanals where other structures have also been constructed. The squatters claim that they pay influential people rent for living there.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, district administration also conducted operation against encroachments in Shah Alam, Firdousi Market, and Shahdara.
