Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has sealed four housing schemes located along Ferozepur Road as they were operating without the civic body\u2019s approval, a news source reported. The housing schemes violated LDA Private Housing Schemes Rules 2014.<\/p>\n

Sources close to the development said LDA would register cases against developers of the schemes. The civic body had already registered cases against eight other developers for carrying out development work prior to the completion of approval process.<\/p>\n

In a separate development, LDA Director General Amna Imran Khan has constituted 35-member three special teams that have been tasked to carry out surveys of all approved, under process and illegal housing schemes in Lahore division.<\/p>\n

These teams would conduct surveys and prepare a list of approved, under process and illegal housing schemes\/legal and illegal sub-divisions, located in the four districts of Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, and Kasur.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
