A three-judge bench issued the directives to the Punjab Masstransit Authority (PMA).<\/p>\n<p>During the course of proceedings, Justice Hassan asked PMA what part of the project was completed as per court\u2019s orders. He said that the project was supposed to complete\u00a0on July 31, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Additional Advocate General said that the court had ordered the complete of several metro stations. He added that the contractors had complained of lack of funds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pkr-190-million-released-for-olmt.html\">PKR 190 million released for OLMT<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The bench expressed dismay over non-implementation of the court\u2019s orders regarding OLMT project, and ordered the PMA secretary to ensure the implementation on a priority basis.<\/p>\n<p>The court, while appointing Justice (retired) Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman as the mediator between the contractors and the departments concerned, adjourned the hearing for one month.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Justice Saqib Nisar had already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cjp-warns-against-delay-in-olmt-completion.html\">warned against any further delays<\/a> pertaining to the completion and operationalisation of the OLMT project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad: The Supreme Court has sought details regarding implementation of the court\u2019s orders on Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) project, a news source reported.
