The departments concerned have been asked to submit their recommendations by December 31.<\/p>\n<p>Sources close to the development said that the provincial government wants to implement a uniform taxation system on the residents of Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, and Bahawalpur.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Senior Minister Aleem Khan had announced an amount of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pkr-100-to-be-imposed-as-garbage-tax-for-each-shop.html\">PKR 100 as garbage tax<\/a>. He said the government made the decision on the basis of a five-year old study.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the solid waste management companies will be asked to collect waste and charge respective households to generate funds.
