Rawalpindi: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has launched an inquiry into alleged missing land in Islamabad, a news source reported. The Forest Department has no record of the land which is included in the district land revenue record.<\/p>\n
Sources close to the development said that ACE obtained the old record of the Forest Department which mentions the details of land not included in the current record.<\/p>\n
The watchdog later found that the Punjab Forest Department had 133 acres of land in its possession till 2000, but the record went missing later. The department told ACE the land in question was included in its record till 2000 and that the current administration had no clue about the land.<\/p>\n
