PEC will also review the existing by-laws for high-rise buildings for similar purposes.<\/p>\n<p>A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed between both the agencies soon. The matter was decided in a meeting between LDA Director General Amna Imran Khan and PEC Chairman Javed Salim Qureshi on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>It was agreed in the meeting that PEC will review existing bylaws and help introduce new regulations for high-rise buildings. The meeting also underlined the need to enhance safety standards according to the number of storeys in any building.
