So far, only the land record of rural areas has been digitised. Read: Punjab govt approves 26 land record centres Chairman Planning and Development Department will head the committee. Other members include secretaries of the finance, P&D, housing, local government and Auqaf departments. Board of Revenue officials and director generals of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) have also been nominated as its members. Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has tasked the committee to prepare recommendations on immediate availability of the land record, surveys and other related issues.
