These demands were put forward by <em>nazims<\/em> of the Raman, Balim and Harchin villages of Laspur valley.<\/p>\n<p>The blockage of Mastuj-Shandur Road has created problems for locals and tourists, as the driveway remains cut off from the rest of the valley and other parts of Gilgit-Baltistan. This area normally witnesses a huge inflow of tourists during the winter season.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>nazims<\/em> said that a big chunk of funds secured from the three village councils had been spent for removing rocks from the road in the past two months.<\/p>\n<p>They demanded the government to adopt emergency measures to avert any untoward incidents that may befall the 34,000 people resident inside the valley.
