Lahore: On orders of the Supreme Court (SC), issuance of property files has been banned, a news source reported. In this regard, Board of Revenue (BoR) has sent notices to housing scheme developers in all towns.<\/p>\n

In light of the apex court\u2019s orders, BoR took important decisions on banning issuance of property files. Now, all housing societies located in District Lahore will follow the property registration system. The schemes have been directed to adopt the property transfer and registration system.<\/p>\n

To implement the orders, Lahore additional deputy commissioner has instructed all registration branches to circulate notices. In following through, sub-registrars in nine towns have informed developers to obey the SC\u2019s ruling.<\/p>\n
