Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf\u2019s (PTI) official Twitter account has announced Bill Gates’ interest to invest in Pakistan, a news source reported. Gates expressed himself as such in a letter addressed to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan. \u00a0His core interest lies in investing within the country\u2019s IT and health sectors.<\/p>\n
The letter was delivered to the Prime Minister by Dr Christopher Elias. Dr Elias is the President of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundations Global Development Division. Accompanying Director General World Health Organisation (WHO) Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreye, he met with the PM in Islamabad.<\/p>\n
In the meeting asserted, the PM asserted Pakistan’s commitment towards tackling its national polio crisis. He hoped WHO will continue working as a reliable partner for improvement in Pakistan\u2019s healthcare sector.<\/p>\n
