Lahore: April has been decided as the construction deadline for a Walk \u2018n\u2019 Shop Arena in Johar Town, a news source reported. Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) recently took notice of the matter.<\/p>\n
The DG gave orders for the preparation of a business model for the PKR 1.5 billion project. Additional Director General Zareef Iqbal Satti has begun the initial planning phase for the project. The outline for the business plan has also been prepared.<\/p>\n
The proposal calls for leasing out arena shops for a period of 10 years. Food courts will be handed to popular food brands. While the parking, porter and janitorial services will be outsourced.<\/p>\n
The rooftop of the arena will also be utilised.<\/p>\n
It has been proposed that LDA should set up a separate directorate for CCTV monitoring. The said body will also organise a festival at the arena each month.<\/p>\n
