This is expected to lead to the introduction of the government\u2019s comprehensive economic plan for the next three years.<\/p>\n<p>The NA session is set to begin on Friday. The government plans to have it passed within a week\u2019s timeframe. For this purpose, the executive branch will attempt to suspend the rest of the session\u2019s agenda, in order to bring focus on the budget.<\/p>\n<p>The budget also aims to bridge the gap of tax collection. FBR had not been able to meet the tax collection target of the previous year because of September\u2019s mini-budget.<\/p>\n<p>It is expected that the government will impose taxes on luxury items. It has also announced its intentions to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/govt-to-ease-tariffs-to-boost-industry.html\">reduce tariffs to help with the nationwide industrialisation<\/a> effort.
