A survey is being conducted in the region, and the schemes will be launched on the basis of its findings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/na-senate-passes-fata-kp-merger-bill.html\">Parliament passes KP-FATA merger bill<\/a><\/p>\n<p>FATA Secretary Sikandar Qayyum said work is being carried out on 114 schemes. He added that a sum of PKR 3,434 million has been allocated for the development projects.<\/p>\n<p>Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had last year granted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/former-fata-gets-pkr-100-mn-as-bridge-loan.html\">bridge loan of PKR 100 million<\/a> to FATA. The government had released the amount as a compensation for the Agency Development Fund. AFD was abolished when the FATA merger bill came into effect last year.<\/p>\n<p>The amendment paved the way for FATA, comprised of seven tribal areas, to merge with KP.
