The directive comes from the commission on water and sanitation mandated by the Supreme Court (SC). During his visit, he observed the use of grey water in the park under a green initiative scheme launched by a local society. He noted that the project not only benefitted the park, but its surrounding areas too.<\/p>\n<p>Justice (retd) Muslim has recommended for the application of the scheme in larger parks, including Karachi Zoo, Benazir Park, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Bagh-e-Ibn-e-Qasim, and Sarfari Park. He elaborated that this will bring about a huge difference, and reduce the pressure on filtered potable water.<\/p>\n<p>The chairman said that grey water was a feasible option for gardening and maintaining green patches.
