Sargodha: The Anti-Corruption Department has recovered PKR 64 million in map-approval fees, reported a news source. Owners of several plazas, schools, marquees, and hospitals had not been charged for not paying their dues.<\/p>\n

Due to reports of the involvement of government officials considered responsible for the payment delays, the Anti-Corruption regional director formed an inquiry committee. Based on the committee\u2019s report, the department recovered map-approval fees from several schools on January 9. The department also sealed a few institution unwilling to make their payments.<\/p>\n

The Anti-Corruption Department has submitted all recovered fee amounts to the national treasury. Reportedly, the remaining defaulters have agreed to clear their pending dues.
