Multan: The Punjab government has made notifications for the creation of a separate public service commission (PSC) for South Punjab \u2013 a news source reported. Read: Separate ADP to be maintained for South Punjab Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar made the announcement. Previously, various delegations from South Punjab called on the chief minister, and informed him regarding the local situation. CM Buzdar said that a sub-secretariat is being established in the region. An additional chief secretary, additional IG, and secretaries of different departments will be appointed for the new establishment. He added that the government accords top priority to the two sectors. The chief minister also announced the establishment of industrial zones in Dera Ghazi Khan and Taunsa. Furthermore, he said that the Multan-Mianwali Road network will be transformed into a dual-carriage highway.
