The decision was taken during a meeting of Lahore Planning and Development Department, which was chaired by Pakistan Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also decided that the Rawalpindi Commissioner will be the project director while RDA will be its executive agency. The meeting members also agreed on preparation of a new PC-1 for Leh Expressway. Rasheed instructed formation of a high-level steering committee to oversee project\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, it was also agreed that a new design of the Leh Expressway connecting Sawan Adda with IJP Road will be prepared.
