Residents seeking conversion of their land have to gain approval from the Capital Development Authority (CDA).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-prohibited-from-creating-new-plots-in-developed-sectors.html\">CDA prohibited from creating new plots in developed sectors<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the district administration has also imposed a temporary ban on lease of agricultural land. It is currently devising a new framework to regularise the sale and purchase of jointly-owned properties.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the chief commissioner has notified the transfer of 12 <em>patwaris<\/em>. From now onwards, residents are no longer required to seek documents from these officials.
