Lahore: The Punjab government has sought a plan regarding the development of Bahawalpur Industrial Zone \u2013 a news source reported. Provincial Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal issued the directives. He was presiding over a meeting at the office of the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade. Chairman Punjab Industrial Development and Management Company and CEO Punjab Investment Board were also present. Read: Mega projects for Bahawalpur approved The minister directed the officials concerned to prepare a report on the proposed industrial zone. He has given instructions for the report to be prepared within a week\u2019s timeframe. He said that the auction of plots in the area will be held in a transparent manner. Furthermore, Iqbal issued orders to expedite construction work on the Quaid-e-Azam Apparel Park. This park is being set up on an area of 1,500 acres at a distance of 40 kilometres from Lahore.
