These officials presented the list to circle inspectors during a high-level meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The department notified the defaulters to clear their dues till January 26. It also tasked 21 circle inspectors to initiate contacts with these individuals for recovery of dues.<\/p>\n<p>Taxation Officer Riaz Virk said that the department will issue <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/et-to-issue-warrants-for-tax-defaulters.html\">arrest warrants<\/a> after January 26. The crackdown against tax defaulters will commence from Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The E&amp;T Department had last year announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/property-tax-rebate-to-expire-soon.html\">5% rebate on property tax<\/a>.
