Lahore: Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has invited private investors to assist the government with regard to the development work of the Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP) \u2013 a news source reported.<\/p>\n
He was talking to a delegation of the Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD). He stated that the government was determined to provide houses to low-income groups.<\/p>\n
Aleem said that building five million houses was a huge task for the executive. He added that policies were being formulated to revamp the housing and construction sector.<\/p>\n
A mortgage policy will be formed on European and American models. Under this arrangement, the process of acquiring funds for house-building ventures will be systematised.<\/p>\n
The minister asked ABAD to share its expertise with the government with regard to the housing sector. He stressed the need to ensure proper arrangements for NPHP.<\/p>\n
