Work on the preparation of a feasibility report for the project is currently under way. Under this initiative, 50 houses will be built in each village.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing specific details on the planned 6,000 houses in the aforementioned districts, he revealed the prices of these units.<\/p>\n<p>According to the minister, the price of a 3-marla house will fall between PKR 1.6 million and PKR 1.75 million. The affordable housing schemes will feature facilities like schools, hospitals, and playgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>The minister further stated that the government will give 5% discounts to overseas Pakistanis in NPHP projects within their respective cities. Additionally, a specific quota will be reserved in these projects for the families of martyrs of the Pakistan Police and the armed forces.<\/p>\n<p>Shedding light on construction of affordable houses in other districts, Rasheed said that 20,000 houses will be constructed in the second phase. The districts in focus under NPHP\u2019s phase-II venture are Faisalabad, Chiniot, and Laiyah.<\/p>\n<p>He further added that the development authorities from nine districts have been tasked with constructing 100,000 housing units.
