Karachi: Syed Mansoor Abbas Rizvi has taken charge as the new director general of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) \u2013 a news source reported.<\/p>\n

He summoned a session of senior KDA officers at the Civic Centre. The officials concerned briefed the KDA chief on various administrative and financial matters.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, Rizvi directed all departmental heads to start preparations for the budget pertaining to the fiscal year 2019-20. He instructed them to perform their duties responsibly.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the new KDA chief warned that ghost and absentee employees would no longer be tolerated. He stressed on the need to develop greater inter-departmental coordination.<\/p>\n
