Gujranwala: Committees have been formed for the dismissal of temporary injunctions obtained by owners of illegal buildings in the city, a news source reported. Municipal Corporation Mayor Sheikh Sarwat Ikram has given the sanction.<\/p>\n
At present, there are more than 800 cases in which the owners of illegal properties have acquired stay orders. Legal and compound committees have been formed to assist the planning committee in their dismissal.<\/p>\n
The planning committee includes advocates Rana Amanullah, Nasreen Ashfaq, Kaleemullah Bhatti, Shahid Zafar Bhandar, Usama Nasr Waraich, and Umair Ashraf Sansi. Usama Nasr Waraich has been designated the chairman of the committee.<\/p>\n
The compound committee members include Mayor Sheikh Sarwat Ikram Deputy Mayor Salman Khalid, and Chief Officer Corporation, among other officials. This committee is authorised to fine illegal buildings, and approve or cancel maps.<\/p>\n
