Excise & Taxation Officer Nadeem Mohiuddin had issued 15-day deadline for clearing dues on the instructions of Director Excise and Taxation Gujranwala Ashiq Hussain Shah. However, when the dues were not cleared, notices were issued for sealing of properties and later the authorities took action.<\/p>\n
Inspector Rana Imtiaz led action in Satellite Town, while Inspectors Maryam Mehmood Butt, Shafqat Goraya, and other took action in Peoples Colony.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the matter, Shah said that the operation will continue until all dues are cleared. He said 6,200 institutions and companies have been issued notices around the region.
