The decision has been taken to help the province meet its revenue targets.<\/p>\n<p>For meeting the revenue target, the provincial government is also looking to introduce new taxes.<\/p>\n<p>The Cabinet Committee will prepare its proposals for increasing taxes and introducing new levies. The committee has been specifically asked to prepare suggestions for increasing property taxes.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, it will also share recommendations for increasing traffic <em>challan<\/em> fee and traffic route permit. Furthermore, the committee will also give its take on whether or not the annual subsidies should continue.<\/p>\n<p>Reportedly, the provincial government has issued a formal notification for formation of this committee.<\/p>\n<p>The committee comprises ministers of Finance, Revenue and Taxation, Health, Education, Irrigation and Management and Professional Development Department.
