Under this policy, an afforestation drive will be launched in at least 50 cities of the province.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, all housing societies as well as government departments \u2013 including schools and hospitals \u2013 will be bound to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lda-instructs-private-developers-to-develop-green-areas.html\">develop green areas<\/a> in their premises.<\/p>\n<p>Additional Secretary of the Forest Department informed that the PC-I for this purpose is being prepared.
