This Joint Venture (JV) of the China Gezhouba Group Company Limited and DESCON will begin civil and electro-mechanical work on the Mohmand Dam project in March 2019. WAPDA has also asked the project authorities to issue a Letter of Acceptance (LoA).<\/p>\n<p>A formal awarding ceremony in this regard is also expected soon.<\/p>\n<p>An official from the Ministry of Water and Power said that WAPDA aims to achieve cost reductions. The authority is currently negotiating with the contractor for this purpose.
