MNA Faizullah presided over the session.<\/p>\n<p>The FBR chief said that the number of filers had gone up by 32% in July-January of FY 2018-19 &#8211; as compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, at least 10,366 association of persons (AoPs) and 7,467 companies had filed their income tax returns during the first seven months of FY2018-19. The total number of tax returns stood at 377,527 for the said period.
