Gujranwala: The Education Department has identified 37 dilapidated government school buildings, a news source reported. The buildings were spotted in a survey conducted by the department; the findings of which were later shared with the building department.<\/p>\n

The survey was conducted to find out the status of primary, elementary, and high schools buildings located in various tehsils<\/em> of Gujranwala.\u00a0 These include Khangah Dogran, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, and Wazirabad. The survey revealed that most of these schools have sizeable student enrolments.<\/p>\n

As per reports, the Education Department will conduct another survey to identify specific parts and classrooms of these worn-out school buildings. According to Education Department CEO Muhammad Farooq, the survey results will soon be shared with the building department.<\/p>\n
