Islamabad: Prime Minister\u2019s (PM) Advisor on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood has stressed the need for uninterrupted energy supply to industries, a news source reported. He shared these views with an ExxonMobil delegation while discussing matters of mutual interest.<\/p>\n

Dawood said that Pakistan\u2019s industries need uninterrupted and affordable energy supply for growth and development. He added that the country is also focusing upon enhancing its energy mix in a manner that it is affordable and environment-friendly.<\/p>\n

During the meeting with the delegation, the participants discussed the current energy demand and supply of the industrial sector. They also discussed different options for clean energy needed to meet the country\u2019s future requirements. Both sides agreed that they should work jointly to meet the energy demands safely and reliably. Also, they seek to reduce the risks and environmental impact while doing so.<\/p>\n

Dawood stated that Pakistan will welcome investment in innovative and advanced technology solutions for fulfilling energy needs.
