The buildings have been declared special premises under Special Premises Ordinance 1965.<\/p>\n<p>These included GC University Hostel, Lower Mall, Bradlaugh Hall, and Iqbal Hostel. After careful survey of these buildings, they met the relevant authorities.<\/p>\n<p>The committee determined that GC University Hostel, and Iqbal Hostel are being well take care of. Meanwhile Bradlaugh Hall has become dilapidated which needs huge restoration and protection efforts. The committee instructed the relevant officials to take care of that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evacuation ordered in Rawalpindi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation (RMC) and the City District Council have issued <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/owners-of-280-dilapidated-buildings-ordered-to-evacuate-the-premises.html\">notices to the owners of 280 dilapidated buildings<\/a>.
