Now, the Supreme Court (SC) has issued a time period of eight months to carve out plots for more than 9,000 file-holders. Meanwhile, LDA Additional Director General (DG) (Urban Planning) Rana Tikka Khan has urged the development partners to boost efforts for meeting the deadline given by the SC. He revealed that 34 contractors and engineering firms have shown interest in undertaking the development work of LDA City Phase 1, which covers 13,000 kanals of land. LDA is scrutinising their applications for prequalification.
