This blueprint has been named the \u2018Indicative Generation Capacity Expansion Plan (IGCEP) 2018-40\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>NTDC\u2019s Power System Planning department formulated this plan as per the rules listed under NEPRA Grid Code 2005. A spokesman stated that the function of a power system is to provide a continuous supply of electricity around the clock. To achieve this goal, generation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ntdc-starts-clean-up-of-transmission-lines.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">transmission<\/a>, and distribution need to perform well under the prevailing regulatory framework.<\/p>\n<p>IGCEP aims to resolve all the current issues faced by the power sector.
