Rawalpindi: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has given his approval for the signal-free Leh Expressway project, reported a news source. The PM also agreed to the construction of a mother-and-child hospital facility for Rawalpindi District, and sanctioned funds for it.<\/p>\n

Reportedly, the prime minister will inaugurate the Leh Expressway project by the end of this month, or the start of April. The federal and Punjab governments will requisition the funds. The project will be managed on private-public-partnership.<\/p>\n
