Islamabad: The federal government plans to spend over PKR 100 billion annually for developing the former Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), a news source reported.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Monday expressed his views on the matter. To facilitate this measure, a three-week consultative process is set to take place in Bajaur.<\/p>\n

The PM said that tribal areas will witness \u2018unprecedented development\u2019 in the next 10 years. Funds worth over PKR 100 billion will be utilised annually for these development projects.<\/p>\n

Previously, the PM had announced a grant worth PKR 2 billion dedicated for the youth of the tribal areas. Using these funds, the government will provide interest-free loans to young entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n
