Islamabad: The federal cabinet has decided to remove restrictions with respect to the construction of high-rise buildings in the capital city, a news source reported.<\/p>\n

Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry expressed his views on the matter. He was addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

He informed that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had advocated strongly for the vertical expansion of Pakistani cities. To facilitate this measure, the government has abolished NOC requirement for constructing high-rises in Islamabad. From now onwards, citizens won\u2019t require a no objection certificate from the civic agencies concerned.<\/p>\n
