For this purpose, the authority has decided to take active steps for completing infrastructural development in the project.<\/p>\n<p>As such, plot allotments to 3,000 people have been cancelled due to non-payments; an issue which had been delaying further development. These people had booked plots in 2006, and their payments fell below 50% of the amounts due. The cancelled plots have now been included in the recent scheme of plots launched in Taiser Town.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, MDA has given the remaining defaulters a last chance to clear their dues.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the high popularity of Taiser Town, the authorities have been considering adding further plots to the already existing figure of 28,000 present in the housing scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, the authorities had also decided to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/mda-to-extend-form-submission-deadline-for-taiser-town.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">extend the deadline for submission of forms<\/a> for balloting of plots in Taiser Town.
