The civic agency will induct new technical experts and town planners into the section.<\/p>\n<p>This was revealed in a briefing to the Prime Minister\u2019s Special Assistant on the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Affairs Ali Nawaz Awan.<\/p>\n<p>The Planning Wing has recently been faced with several staffing issues which have impacted its performance. A comprehensive plan has been formulated to resolve these problems. This measure, in turn, is expected to help improve services delivery.<\/p>\n<p>The wing, specifically, has been facing a shortage of operational staff; causing its hierarchal structure to be disturbed. To remedy this situation, a pyramidal organisational structure is expected to be introduced.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed plan suggests a reduction in redundant directorates and expansion at the town planner and technical-expert levels.
