The purpose, as per Abbasi, is to encourage citizens to adopt the practice through their own efforts.<\/p>\n<p>RDA Chairman said that the authority is considering making it compulsory for private house owners to install rain harvesting wells on their land. The government boards concerned will approve the policy in the coming month.<\/p>\n<p>RDA also plans to utilise the water used in mosques for irrigating plantations in Liaquat Bagh.
