The project is expected to cost PKR 40 billion and will be spread over an area of 1,548 land acres.<\/p>\n<p>Briefing the delegation of Asian Development Bank, WASA Managing Director Rao Muhammad Qasim said that the megaproject will serve two-thirds of the population of the central and southern side of the city.<\/p>\n<p>The installation of Waste Water Treatment Plan and Sullage Carrier will require construction of a 35-kilometre long nullah. The nullah will carry the sewerage water and dispose it into Chenabi River after its treatment.
