Gujrat: The land revenue department has suggested providing patwar<\/em> courses for service centre officials who work as data entry operators at the land record centres across Punjab, a news source reported.<\/p>\n

The department has also recommended computer data entry training for graduates in a bid to tackle the issues pertaining to managing old land records, meeting revenue targets, and providing efficient services delivery.<\/p>\n

The Gujrat Additional District Collector (Revenue) has forwarded a proposal to this effect to the member taxes at the Board of Revenue. The letter contains suggestions with respect to the training of patwaris<\/em>, gardawars<\/em> and naib tehsildars<\/em>, as well as the staff working at the land record centres.<\/p>\n
