The Punjab government recently appointed Commissioner Ayaz as the acting director general of the civic agency.<\/p>\n<p>He directed the RDA officials to invite new applications from consultancy firms for preparing the Ring Road project feasibility study. He said the reason for seeking new applications was to ensure transparency.<\/p>\n<p>It is pertinent to mention that the civic agency had invited expressions of interest from private firms in February. As many as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pre-qualification-for-rrr-26-firms-submit-bids.html\">26 companies had submitted their applications<\/a>.
