He said that after this initial approval, a society has six months to present layout plan. It can only start selling plots once this layout plan is approved, and received clearance from the land revenue department, he added.<\/p>\n<p>The official stated that in the case of said societies, the revenue department had objected to owners not having compact land in their possession.
