It has appointed the Sindh Irrigation &amp; Drainage Authority as the executing agency. In the working paper of the project, it has been detailed that the said authority conceived its need after the devastating floods of 2015. As such, the said government department has identified the area along the Qadirpur Loop Bund for protection against major flood events.<\/p>\n<p>The implementation of the project will protect several national assets against flood-induced damage.
