The civic body has also requested funds in its proposals for beginning the maintenance and repair work of six other roads. This meeting is scheduled to take place on May 3, 2019. The road projects have been added to the meeting\u2019s agenda as per the directions of Special Assistant to PM on CDA Affairs (and MNA from Islamabad) Ali Nawaz Awan.<\/p>\n<p>The CDA management aims to resolve the issue of frequent traffic jams at Rawal Chowk. For this purpose, it is expected to propose the construction of an interchange there, along with the upgradation of Murree Road.<\/p>\n<p>The authority has also formulated a project concept-II (PC-II) for hiring consultants to conduct a feasibility study in this regard.
