Lahore: The Punjab government has appointed Ahmed Ali Dareshak, a lawmaker from Rajanpur, as chairperson of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), a news source reported. Previously, a senior official had rejected a PLRA summary seeking changes in its composition. The BoD consists of 16 members including nine commissioners, the PLRA director general (who serves as the board\u2019s secretary), and six private members nominated by the provincial government. Meanwhile, the PLRA staff has requested the authorities concerned to resolve the issues pertaining to jobs regularisation, the promotion policy, as well as administrative and operational matters.
