A notification has been issued to transfer the funds into the accounts of the departments concerned.<\/p>\n<p>The funds have been issued under May\u2019s Provincial Finance Commission (PFC) share. A figure of PKR 300,000 has been issued to each union council under the head of \u2018Expenses\u2019. Of the total, Lahore\u2019s 274 union councils have been issued PKR 82.2 million.<\/p>\n<p>The funds have been transferred to designated Deputy Commissioner accounts. The finance department has also issued the notification for the transfers. This is the first time that funds have been issued since the launch of the new local body system.<\/p>\n<p>The new l<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/punjab-assembly-passes-local-government-bill.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ocal government (LG) bill was passed earlier this month by the Punjab Assembly<\/a>.
