Islamabad: The government plans to introduce a \u2018movable\/immovable asset transfer scheme\u2019 for the underprivileged sections of the country, a news source reported.<\/p>\n

Read<\/strong>: PM shares details on welfare projects launched so far<\/a><\/p>\n

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan took a decision to this effect during a meeting held in Islamabad on Monday. As per reports, the PM will launch the said scheme in June.<\/p>\n

At the occasion, Special Assistant to the PM on Social Safety Nets and Poverty Alleviation (PASS) Dr Sania Nishtar provided a briefing with regard to the progress on the Ehsaas initiative\u2014an inter-sectoral programme.<\/p>\n

Under this programme, the government will provide livestock, agriculture tools, sewing machines and supplies in a bid to support small businesses and local industries.<\/p>\n

Moreover, PM Khan is expected to launch an \u2018Ehsaas Qarz-e-Hasna\u2019 scheme, under which the executive will provide over 80,000 loans to the youth and women resident in the country\u2019s under-developed districts.<\/p>\n
