The SNGPL teams took action against an ice factory on GT Road that had been stealing gas in large amounts. SNGPL Lahore General Manager Tayyab Faisal, and Chief Engineer Imran Virk had issued directions for the operation. The culprits had attached a 72-diameter pipe with the main gas pipeline and were stealing large amounts of gas through the main line. The factory owners resisted against the SNGPL staff during the operation. However, the staff went through with the operation and registered an FIR against the culprits in Baghpura Police Station.
